Our Spiritual Maturity Groups

Text Box: Cancer Support Group meets second Monday at 7pm.  People living with cancer or caregiver for someone with cancer are welcome.  We have various discussions and generally just support and listen.  Karen Peiffer supplies the materials to discuss and Joy Boccolucci supplies the house.

Text Box: The Charity Crafters was started in March of 2007.  We meet the first and third Mondays of the month from September to June. There are about ten ladies who regularly come to the meetings. It is always a fun time getting together to work on our projects and visit with one another. There are a few ladies that make items at home, but do not come to the meetings. Donations are made to the facilities in the spring and fall.
We make baby blankets and hats that are donated to Children's Hospital and the new Mom's and Dad's are so happy to receive them. We also make lap blankets, shawls and slippers for the residents of the Erie County Medical Center Skilled Nursing Facility. Many neck bags, foley bags and wheelchair bags have been sewn for the residents also. Chemo hats have been made and we donate them to the oncology department at the Erie County Medical Center. We hear from the staff that all our donations are very much appreciated.
A nice assortment of patterns has been accumulated over the years. We have been blessed with some money donations to purchase yarn and material, and people have also been very generous with their donations of yarn.
If anyone is interested in joining or has any questions please see Shirley Eberle or Nancy Gill.
